On Thursday 13 July 2023 artists from the Material Matters Collective held a Long Table discussion at the Bridewell Gallery as part of our exhibition Here to Become.

The Long Table is a dinner party structured by etiquette, where conversation is the only course. The inspiration for this format comes from the work of the US duo Split Britches.

Warm thanks to all the guests who accompanied us in this incredible evening of conversation – respectful, insightful, and often funny – but powerfully responding to our menu for the night devised by MM artist Silvia Battista:
